Well, a succubus feeds on testosterone. Apparently if you summon one you and she will mate for life, however short it may be.

And people actually summon these things? Can other people see them? Do they sit in your house like a regular person or something? That would be creepy

Well from looking at anime, it can vary, but typically when they feed on you they only take so much, so you'll still be alive, just don't get too addicted ;) As for seeing them, I think anyone can. Although I don't know about from mythological lore, however... I'd prefer the anime version of the Succubus. Oh and the male version is called a Incubus.

In forklore they tend to be accidentally summoned or summoned by desperately lonely people. The story goes that they are sexaholics and will attack you as you sleep to have sex with you. In the act of sex they take the hormones that are ample in either gender. Getting rid of a succubus or incubus is almost impossible and the person has to either increase their food and such intake to deal with the drain as the person starts to waste away. Meh... I'd take a succubus over an incubus. Actually, some myths link Lilith to the succubus. Eternally trying to conceive only to watch her children die. She was before Eve, but she rebelled and wanted to be equal with Adam rather than ruled over and then Eve was made while Lilith was cursed to live forever, to eternally watch her childeren die...or something.
