Why do people hate gays?

The roles of homemaker and breadwinner do not necessarily have to be filled with a certain sex though. There is no genetic basis (yet discovered) that prevents someone of a certain sex to be able to make money for their family in today's society. Men can just as easily take care of their children as woman can. There are even substitutes for breast milk as well (I recommend breast feeding your babies, it is healthier for them). I personally would like my wife to take care of kids and I be the breadwinner, but I recognize that the roles could easily be reversed and we could procreate and survive in this world successfully. As for the feminism comment: There were once roles for blacks in the United States that worked perfectly fine for the culture at that time as well. Though the feminist movement of today has taken their ideas to the far extreme.

Men are always breadwinners and wives homemakers... lmao... My Dad is a much better cook than my Mom. I'd pick my Mom as breadwinner any day. Plus you can bet ur ass that my lil sis doesn't wanna be a homemaker, she's gonna be a vet! Furthermore, if feminism ruined everything, why was there feminism in the first place? I mean, really? Suffragettes went on hunger strike in prison and had to endure agonizingly painful force-feeding. Most people who "hate gays" send THEIR OWN CHILDREN to straight-to-gay camps where these kids recieve all kinds of abuse and get psychological issues. I'd say that's a pretty deep and fucked-up level of hate. "Life choices"??? Being gay isn't a choice. I spent most of my early teenage years trying to force myself to be straight, not bisexual. There were points in my life where I felt worthless and imperfect because I wasn't straight, all because of ignorant people in society. I shouldn't have had to spend my first few teenage years like that because of a few ignorant dipshits. There are kids killing themselves at 12 and 13 because they don't want to be gay. If they could be straight, they would be.

Leaving religión aside if you make everyone gay society will come to an end in the future no natural procreation Half of that hate comes from this and the rest is religion

Yes, I'm going on and overreacting about children being abused and your blatant misogyny, such an overreaction. After all, this stuff is no big deal, right :D! I am angry about something that personally deeply impacted me, but accepting that this stuff is wrong would force you to change your beliefs, therefore I must have low self-esteem. How the heck does cooking skill have nothing to do with your role, everyone knows that a traditional homemaker is meant to do the cooking and cleaning. That's like saying how good you are at science has nothing to do with your role inside an engineering company. Kids "killing themselves over stupid stuff". Well obviously it's not stupid to them and killing yourself is not natural selection, wtf. There are highly intelligent children and teenagers who commit suicide, and the intelligent are the strongest in today's society.

well some people hate or dislike homosexuality for different reasons. could be religious could be personal could be adopted idealism from parents, friends or family. hate exist just as much as love does and I'm not by any means excusing the hate or awful behavior that some people have against others (I'm pro be and do what makes you happy just as long as your not harming someone) I'm only answering the original question this thread had. unfortunately some people hate & dislike homosexuality, it happens. I'm pansexual, i have plenty of lgbt friends and we attend PRIDE movements to speak out and try to gain an understanding. I've heard some beautiful testimonials from people that had hated lgbt folk but gained understanding. and some just wont, they will continue to dislike it. it happens.
