Why don't any of you join the Catholic Church?

I like Catholics, especially Catholic schoolgirls... Anyway, I dislike organized religion with a structured hierarchy of people in control. They always end up abusing it. Religion is just used as a method of control and for feeding the greedy and power hungry at the top. You know why religions always seem to be against birth control and such? More children = more members = more money and power. Mormons took especial advantage of that with their original policy of multiple wives which is how they gained so much money and power in such a short time.

^ The Industrialized world is more secular than other nations. And the First World is having less children- most of their population growth is based on immigration from Developing nations. So, if atheists and agnostics had less children, then soon the Industrialized world will be full of the faithful. Which is a good thing. So yes, you guys may leave the church. You may influence heresy. But at the end of the day, thanks to Africans, Latins, and Asians, we will have a powerful religious community. That's why we oppose birth control. We need more members. And we're done trying to convert dirty heathens!

Sperm is sacred. That's why the priest's body needs to retain all of it. And occasionally they release it on someone. But no matter how wrong that is, the priest is still a mediator between heaven and earth.

I'm Catholic, Not your average Catholic since I was agnostic for a while. I believe in God and Jesus, Do I believe in the church and Bible? No and Yes. Personally I dislike the Church, Look at the the medieval times, They made some of the worst torture man ever has thought of, It may be the house of God, but it is run by man for the time being. Man is corrupt. So yeah, No the church isn't for me. Bible? Things been translated so many times, and is so old the original contents are near impossible to find and read. It may have been directed by god, but primal man did the writing to. That's like you trying to get an ant to write in the dirt sophisticated science in the dirt, Doubt it's easy. I believe in the roots of the bible. Love and respect others, Don't lie, Be good and you can go to heaven, bad and you will be punished. I'm a person that believes highly in justice so that appeals to me. I could write a thousand page essay on my mental viewpoints, how I get to them and all my morals. But I don't have the patience. But Darkhorse, Don't force anyone to join religion, It won't help, trust me, If it comes up in a conversation(which it always will sooner or later), Then you can say your view point on it, But putting it into a forum, won't get them to. In fact they probably won't just to spite you. Let it come naturally not forcefully my friend.
