Arslan Senki

I've seen both the original OVA and so far this new update seems good so far. The original novels were written by the same guy that did Galactic Heroes if I am remembering right and also did Tytania. My favorite characters were the Priestess and Narsis...I probably spelled that name wrong.

Ahhh Narsus is pretty hilarious, I want to see what one of his paintings actually look like. Priestess hasn't been introduced yet as of the episode im on (5 i think?)

Yea we got a peek at her in the very end of episode 6, I saw that one lol it is indeed pretty old by anime standards. I believe at least manga wise it was done by the same artist as FMA. So that's probably why the character designs look similar to it. I hope this time Arslan Senki get's the full treatment of the whole story being told.

Yep, Hiromu Arakawa who created the FMA and Silver Spoon manga also created the Arslan Senki manga based off The Heroic Legend of Arslan fantasy novels.
