Sorry for such a crass title but I figured it would get most peoples attention. Now I've ignored this for a while because it wasn't a big deal before but I've been getting an influx of dickery. Now when I joined MaiOtaku I was in fact single; no girlfriend, no boy friend or bishie etc. I've made a lot of friends so when I found a boy friend and got married I stayed on because I love this community there is no other like it. Now no offence to anyone I believe everyone to be polite ladies and gentlemen but I imagine putting that fact in the forums will lose me some "friends". Which honestly I don't mind because I'm tired of the many messages of hitting on me because they don't look at the profile info that's directly in their face. Then being called a bitch/ whore because I am loyal to my husband and won't "just cyber" or give them my phone number. Also my favorite is that I always give people a pass the first time and politely decline them. But they always HAVE to message me back in their own defense; "oh yeah well I already have a gf/bf, fiance/fiancee or wife/husband" they just let me blah blah blah. That's nice and all that you can have that kind of relationship. However I am not interested. Now don't get me wrong I love talking with everyone ! I want us all to get along message, chat and share things. I'm just please asking that you respect people male or female. If someone declines, respect their choice harassing them won't magically make them want your bits. EDIT: Ah, yes all my racy pics. There is no base in those photos or anything. Not like any anime characters are racy or anything. Please for give my self confidence, obviously I'm just that dumb wouldn't have possibly come to the conclusion that I could delete them ! -gasp- forgive my "complaining" oh wise men.

Yeah, please don't do this guys. It is very disrespectful. You wouldn't want anyone treating your sister like that. (Just a dude's perspective that doesn't have to deal with these situations)

So true. It's why I don't go on PS Home and I'm wary of playing online games that use mics. It's amazing how many people seem to have dick pics saved to their consoles that they can just send it out at the drop of a hat.

I know it's rude, crude and lewd and what I say next is not in defense of such behavior. This is a place of anonymity and as such there are those who feel they can do as they please without consequence. You saying this here will not change a thing, but I more than understand venting. Little boys will be little boys, but I've met women (though truly the minority in this case) who do the same thing. Just ignore rather than even explain yourself. The great thing about the Internet is that you owe no one anything, not even a response. Unless you know the person, just don't give them the satisfaction of any form of a response. Guys who do that are looking for a response, be it good or bad. It's like the guy who just wants sex, if there weren't women who would comply, he wouldn't have a reason to try.

@Xueli I know the feeling. I hate PSN though for different reasons. I feel like it's full of idiot kids who enjoy "trolling" or whatever they call being a dumbass these days.

Well I can't say I'm fully surprised that this happens. Just send the pics back to their mothers, might take a little time and effort, research, etc....BUT CAN YOU IMAGINE HOW REWARDING IT WILL BE?

I remember reading about a female game journalist who realized that a lot of the harassing messages she was getting were from young boys and since they were sending those messages out with their personal facebook page, she forwarded some to their mothers. I would not want to go home if I were any of those kids hahaha

While no woman should have to endure that, Im pretty sure you knew something like this would happen with those racy pics you got in your profile. Its not your fault, and you should be able to post what you want, but you know the pervs will hound on that in a second..
