This Site Is Stupid

for me, if you friend me, you better talk to me or have some sort of communication, either boards or pm. I rarely send requests because of this. If you want to be a "friend", make an attempt. If you just want to raise your friend count, don't bother me.

Yes, this site is pretty half assed when it comes to the dating aspect, and there could be many improvements. The site is targeted at a small audience, and like all "dating" sites, its primarily men that occupy it. Also like all dating sites, you aren't always going to be finding someone. There are a lot of single girls on here, though a lot become inactive as well. Just wait until you find someone in your area that joins here, don't immediately jump on her ass, and when talking to them, it's better if it's a private chat (imo) and don't open up with the same thing you'd say to everyone or things that are too generic, ie: "Hey, how's it going?" Conversations like that will turn people away instantly, it's not engaging in conversation, it's hardly small talk. Open up with something a little more exciting, or look at their info a little and open up with something there, and be honest. Talk about some anime you both like, it's an otaku dating site after all I met my current girlfriend on here because of that (technically she found me first, but I digress). We were able to keep long conversations (sometimes a few paragraphs), and talked about many different things, even in the same message. Dating her wasn't my original intention from the beginning, but ended up falling for her and vise versa Anyways, basically, it's a dating site, like all others, it's hit or miss, more often miss, and some take more time than others. Nothing is impossible, just improbable.

i met up with a girl IRL who i met on this site. maybe not a relationship, but shes a really good friend of mine. had a great time just walking around, visiting anime and gaming stores, and then having tacos. this site is useless? Nah, this site really has its uses, just gotta go out and try :P

How is this site useless? I got an otaku best friend from this, whom i talk to almost everyday. I think it works just fine. ^-^

I don't have many anime friends in real life, and this site helped me find people who have the same interests as I do. Although I hardly have time for it, this site is the way I found anime friends.
