Honestly, I wouldn't mind if they were religious, as long as they are not the type to force it on you. As for non-religious, I don't see any problem there.

1. Yes. I am not dating them for their religion. I am dating them because I like them. Religion doesn't matter. However, it is better to find someone who shares beliefs with me.
2. I am Catholic. I had an agnostic/polytheistic girlfriend for 6 years. We would talk about religion every once in a while, and I feel it made us both stronger in what we believe and respect for each other's beliefs.
3. Yes, I would try to convert them. I would expect them to do the same if they really believe something as profoundly as I believe my religion. I wouldn't think any less of them if they didn't convert and I truly loved who they were. I like people with strong, intelligent conviction.

This varies, someone with no religion definitely, since I'm agnostic myself.
A religion that wouldn't clash with me in general, so Buddhist, Shinto, Protestant.
Not Catholic unless they were casual about it, I certainly wouldn't go in for a traditional Catholic family who'd push for marriage and interfere with the way you raise your kids.
More involved foreign religions like Hindu and Islam/Muslim - no, particularly since Muslims require outsiders to join their religion, and there's just no way I'd do that.

Yes I would. I wouldn’t care about it as long as he wouldn’t dare try to force his belief on me. Then we would get a serious problem. But if the person is accepting and moderate enough to be tolerant, it wouldn’t matter to me.
What I think wouldn’t work for long is when it would be a person who considers religion as the center of his life, because it is obviously not mine for I am not religious at all. One should have compatibility in what one wants for and from the own life and what the own ambitions are. The worldview should meet in some way and not go into the complete opposite direction.

I'm catholic and my husband believes in nothing, it's not a big deal.

Yes, though it really comes down to the individual in question. I'm atheist and have dated a christian girl before and it was never an issue. We both knew we each had different views but neither of us pushed our views on the other, as long as we were both happy in believing what we did.

I'm a buddhist myself and wouldn't mind to date someone with a different religion. Infact I have a girlfriend who is a christian. As long as if someone accept you who you are than it is totally fine.
