I'd never think of something like the red district as glamorous.

Just like they say the one in holland is dope as well. Its not -_- its actually like window shopping for women rentals. Its of course unique to go to see with its all abt ... but when u get there its so ... meh.
Spain has one that can make you cringe.
Cuba and brasil are pretty much one huge red light district.
Argentina ... any club or drinking house is a red light facility.
You also find live sex shows to which you pay an entrance fee to go and watch ppl.
Trust me if you find a line of people near a big building that does not describe what they are in line for you might be at a line for such a place. For some reason its a cool thing in argentina 0.o ... weird in my opinion.

On Japanese society and the prospect of living here
http://s5.postimg.org/qx84n5hw7/WP_20150405_005.jpg
The people around me tend to complain that my "obsession" with Japan is only born out of my passion for anime. This statement may, of course, not be completely false, but it's far from being completely true... except until now, I didn't really have any counterargument available to defend myself.
Now that I've finally made the trip, I feel I'm genuinely entitled to give a proper statement about what I think of Japan, at least so far.
If I had to put it in a single sentence, for someone like me, Japan is the perfect spot the for a relaxing holiday. I could easily see myself coming back here for a couple and weeks, and just staying in bed or walking down the streets. The reason for that boils down to how well organized the Japanese society is. For someone like me, who comes from a place where people are fucking animals, seeing how well behaved everyone is, how immaculate the streets are and how peaceful and quiet it all is almost... addicting. I've never been in a place where people never lock their bikes in place, simply because they know that they're not gonna get stolen. This might seem like a nitpick, but I really think that leading a happy life all boils down to the little things in life...
But don't get me wrong, I've said and I repeat it, I'd love to come here "on holidays". I actually think that living here could actually turn some people, especially gaijins like myself, crazy. That would be because, for as awesome as the Japanese society seems to be at first glance, it's also incredibly monotone and secluded...
To put it in a way that you guys might understand what the hell I'm talking about, the daily life of a regular young Japanese man, and I'm not making stuff up here, boils down to, working all day, going home... Maybe they'll go to the local arcade if their into this kind of things... Rince and repeat everyday of the week (almost). People don't go out. People don't party. They don't just get together and hang out or just have a fun time together, because it's not engrained in their way of life. This even applies to couples. They might go on dates, like going to the park or the restaurant, but they won't talk that much. They'll just spend the money and that's about it.
And things don't work like they would in some place like America. Here, you're born in one sector of society, and you will die in it. Whereas other places in the world have tons of opportunities which make life interesting and a challenge everyday, Japan doesn't hold all those. I'm not gonna go into TOO much details lest I bore you to death, just no know I'm not just blowing wind here, I know what I'm talking about.
So... there. I've said my piece on the matter. I get this might all seem like bullshit coming from a black dude who just arrived at the place, but I think I'm at a point in my life where I seriously need to start analysing this kind of things, since only a month remain until I'm done with uni and need to start working, and I'm in a privileged position right now, where I can literally decided to live anywhere I want. I've seriously considered coming here for a few years, but I'm thinking more into staying back in London at the moment.
Next I'll probably talk about my lighting fast visit to a maid cafe with my friend and finishing up the Akihabara segment.

Well my friend travelling let's you go to places, and getting lost helps you find thikngs you weren nt looking for. I am living on a dutch island, so traveling to holland is easy almost as afordable as the states on low season.
So that's how I went to germanys and hollands..
Cuba... met a.lot of ppl. From there and visited for 2 days because of work related crap. I was offered early afternoon on the beach a young 16 year old for the night or a 22 year old.or both for. 50 usd -__- when I said no they said they knew guys as well ... I just got up and walked away.
Argentina I went there for work to see new industrial machinery stayed for a week in buenos aires. Was hit on in the pubs and discos and.clubs by both argentnian and brazilian women in their late teens to early 20s because I was a foreigner ... dollars is money. They were women that came pretty much with pricetag included.
Let me see I know enough people from são paolo to even have learned basic portuguese from them. If you are a foreigner and say your looking for a gf in a brasilian club you will find a woman coming back with ya to your hotel because of poverty in some areas and because foreign money is worth a lot of money.
And I visited a friend who is now a priest that lived in spain. He served in an area near the red light district. Theres a lot of exlpitation of minors ..
Itwas disturbing
