I wouldn't be surprised whether it's fake or not, but either way it clearly means there's problems and people are unsatisfied. From what I see, even before this thread, many people seem to leave mysteriously. @_@

I love this "Thread." My favorite one. "IM LEAVING THIS SITE AND NOT EVER COMING BACK EVER AGAIN." I've seen that title so many times... ;) ... Then so many reply to the thread. .... The member leaves, comes back to MO, and make the "I'M BACK" intro thread.... Then everyone replies welcome back.... You just got to love it.... ;)... "More like attention getter thread."

I'm so sad :( @Hagura There's nothing mysterious about it. People sign up, some are from people who are genuinely interested in the site, but leave once they understand that it isn't some quick fix to getting laid with an otaku girl/guy. Then we have the obvious troll accounts, who need no introduction. And then there are fake accounts, from people just playing the attention seeking card, mostly by impersonating some "very hot otaku girl" and laughing in the face of people credulous enough to fall for it.

Hey! I left and made an I'm back thread. Of course I had just disappeared instead of announcing it, but I still resent your statement (not really). And as for this being an "attention" thread. It's a fair conclusion for you to make, but from the comments I've read by L here and in other threads, I think that is an oversimplification.
