@Hagura A sites popularity hugely hinges a it's user base, and those are constantly coming and leaving. New users, mostly female, leave shortly thereafter because of the constant trolling. In short, I doubt MO will become any more popular unless some drastic change to its basic functions are made.

I was actually quite shocked that this place doesn't have such functions. I thought this place would be flooded with trolls.. seems quite the opposite.

@kantmoo It seems there are less "anime" trolla than gaming trolls on the interwebs ... Or maybe its because maiotaku doesn't have a link to 4chan?

@kantmoo Me too, actually. When I first joined, it seemed like any other forum with a lack of bot spam and trolls all over. It was only when I saw that one troll that I realized... there's no moderators or rules posted. o_o

I think the reason there are few trolls is due to the fact there is no rule or anyone to enforce said rule. Almost like selling drugs if the goverment sold durgs cheap there would be no drug dealers...kinda... trolls like to make a mess caues chaos and disorder.....idk it all sounded better in my head.

I thought it was just because it's not that popular yet, so not many people know about it enough for troublemakers to hear about its existence.

I really do think a "mute" button would be nice to have, for those who aren't breaking rules but still offending you or making you uncomfortable with what they say.

if maiotaku ever got linked to 4chan and the right troll comes around and brings his friends it won't be pretty. i still think one or two other people we can go to would help allot.
