Loli, thank you for sharing your testimony. It's..an eye-opener for me personally; I've always wished I were adopted instead of being in my biological family but your experience told otherwise. I especially agree with your point on caring; too many people nowadays toss out the "love you", "I do care", "I understand how you feel" phrases without truly knowing the weight behind those words. I'm glad at least you've thrown off the notion of suicide and started to get back on your feet. Personally I live for 2 reasons: to know just how far I can go in this world and to know where I truly belong. I've lived in 2 countries prior to my current stay in the United States and will be leaving for another place again in the near future. The migratory bird knows neither home nor nest; it only knows its next destination and goal.

Usually for me, its the little things in life, and helping people, I know what its like to be on the darker side of life, so I try everyday to help someone smile, that's my goal.
