If you really care about the person kissing can be one of the best experiences. You memorize the feel of their soft lips and tongue. It's another way to connect with someone, to get to know them on a different level. Eventually you become accustom to their taste and when they're gone you miss it. Sorry if that's weird...

kissing to me is a form of affection you can show your gf/bf. It's a way you tell your significant other that you love and care about them. Just like smoragan17 said as well no it's not weird at all. If you miss kissing them to means you miss being around them.

I never liked a girl and kissed her. However, I`ve kissed some girls before, but it was not something very special. I believe that if you kiss someone you like, it`s very different.

It's awkward at first. Then get's better as you get intimate with your partner. I consider it a proof of intimacy and inner connection. Big words for something that's been really de-sensitized of late.
