Well, since I'm on the same floor as the light, I'ma keep flicking the switches one at a time until I see the light turn on from down the hall.

Ok... O guess I thought you were using a play on words with Ground Floor & 1st floor cause in some/most places, that's the same floor

switch 1) leave one for a few minutes then turn off Switch 2) turn on and leave on Switch 3 ) keep off. go upstairs and if the bulb is not on check to see if it's warm... if it is then you know which switch it is :P
