Reasons for joining MO

I generally joined here many many years ago in an attempt to find some one but it seemed not many people on here were really on here to do what the site was made for but many years later I am still here and some how stuck around so I am sort of like the old lodger on here that never leaves

Haha I'm becoming a wizard too man I join to look for a girlfriend since my thought process was they like anime/manga I like it too it'll be a piece of cake, well nope the site is till enjoyable so I'm sticking around

Hmm.. for me. I joined coz i dont have that much friends who like anime.. And maybe it sounds "absurd" but the main reason is to find a guy that hopefully i can meet someday with same interest as me, we will watch anime together and play games together.. (what am i saying?) But its cute. XD

i found this site while sitting at my computer looking for places where i can talk to like minded people that have a strong love for anime, manga and gaming like i do. when i try to talk about anime with other people i just get a vacant look from the people i'm talking with as they don't understand and think it's just cartoons and that cartoons are for kids. most of the women i talk to on "regular" dating sites are the same. i'll start to talk about anime and they'll just loose interest and stop talking to me, so it's nice to be able to come here and interact with you guys and girls and talk about things that i really enjoy. like for example did you guys see this weeks aldnoah.zero....talk about shocker right ^^ anyways long and the short of it is i'm here because i want to find a nice girl that shares the same interests as me, that i can watch anime with and finally put a smile back on my face which has been long since gone for the last 4 years.
