the evil "friend zone"

I'm not sure, but I think someone goes around telling people I'm attracted to that I'm not because I'm always in the ever so dreary "friend zone" all the time I get "you're like my sister" pfft if your sister flirts with you that much you must have a messed up family. does anyone else have this happen ?

All the time. I actually get into the 'one of the guys' zone. It's very unfortunate because I like to get to be friends with someone first, and then that happens.

double edged sword of becoming friends first ;p if you find yourself thinking you might be attracted to someone just go on a date. dates dont necessarily mean you have to do anything physical, and if you find you dont like em after all, just tell them its not gonna work out and just be friends.

meh its the opisite with me, friends tend to wanna be more and it really fucks up the relationship. it sucks both ways (though i guess im biast cuz im never liked a friend XP)

when you are the person being friend zone it sucks if a relationship like that continues where both parties know how each other feels its destined to fail even as friends

I hate the F word (and no, I didn't mean the curse word hahaha). Happens to me ALL the time. Actually, kinda happened just yesterday at work. This girl I work with who I've been interested in since I found out she was a huge otaku uttered the 'F' word to me. That's all I'll be. Nothing more. Sick of being stuck in the "friend zone".

Yeah, I gotta stop doing that. At this point, I'm better off just ignoring her anyway since I'm trying to leave the state and start over. If I do move, maybe I can play the "I dunno where I am, so why don't you show me around" card with any local female otaku.
