The animes today (RECOMMEND ME)

Berserk (both series & movies) Hellsing Ultimate Black Blood Katanagatari (a must watch if you've watched all those fighting anime) Durarara (must see if you've watched Baccano) Fate/Zero Fate/Stay Night Parasyte Kill la Kill Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Majestic Prince One Piece (DO IT BITCH!!! ALL EPISODES) Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood The World God Only Knows (in case you wanna laugh and take a break from the fighting series) Hajime No Ippo Gundam Wing Gundam 00 But Seriously, you can watch most of the episodes in English now and not rip your head off. The funidubs are actually tolerable. But you should watch One Piece. It's been around since Dragon Ball Z (one year after) and is still going for a reason. One Piece has been labeled one of the BEST ANIME SERIES OF ALL TIMES. It's won more awards and #1 spots than any other anime to date. Take like, a solid 2 weeks, maybe 3 and just binge watch the series. I promise you it's worth every episode. Even the flashbacks will tug at your emotions. It's not like Naruto or Bleach where people "find out they're part demon/hollow/quincy/whatever" and that's why there's a power boost all of a sudden. There's just the adventure. The only backstory they show are relevant and actually mean something more than a wasted episode. Shit gets real almost all the fucking time in One Piece. One Piece may not be my absolute favorite anime of all time, but I would rather watch that than most of the new crap out today.

Kichigai knows what's he talking about....but seriously, DON'T WATCH ANY DUB, THEY'RE ALL HORRIBLE....4kids IS 100x worse than Funimation, but Funimation dub is still horrible....the sub is way better, I promise (unless your opinion differs :P)...oh and what's that idea kichi?

Your talk of 4kids made me think of Yu-Gi-Oh, and I wonder...has anyone watched it in Japanese? I've not seen it, but I'd like to.

Actually, that's a good question Manga...I personally don't think anyone who watched Yu-gi-oh when they were a kid actaually have seen the sub, unless they've went back and decided to rewatch in sub years later, which "probably" isn't to many...but that's just me talking with blind logic
