Tokyo Ghoul Root A Episode 1

Hated the opening, nowhere near as good as unravel!! This opening animation was just boring, the ending looked better but still they downgraded in my opinion.

@marzkid Not particularly. If you watched the opening for the first season, they already gave it away. That and all the events of the episode lead to that pretty much. Kaneki was dissatisfied with the state of things, and putting people in harm, so he wants to get stronger and not put anyone at risk. He's constantly putting that pressure on himself of being useless, throughout the first season as well, and he tells himself over and over again that he has no right to judge humans or ghouls for their decisions. Also, sorry for my rants, I'm pretty into this show :)

Disappointed....Idk what the author is trying to do but the opening is boring compared to the first one. The ending is really good though (I'm talking about the art and the song). I wish the author just followed the manga..http://littlecloudcuriosity.files.wordpress.com/2013/11/65316.gif But I will still watch the whole season.

i was disappointed it's not like him to do something like that at the end of that episode. The manga had his personality down better. And they better include a certain something from the manga wont spoil but it will be much more intense then him getting white hair :p

Come on guys, We all knew it was stated to anime only for a while now. The author wrote this though, So no one knows the story or characters better. This is only episode one let's see what the guy has in store for us before we judge.

Yeah, you are probably right. Although for first impressions i was kinda disappointed that they left out one major part. Hopefully it will blow me away next episode.

I'm glad they aren't strictly following the manga, for Season 1 I got bored since it pretty much strictly followed it until about Ch. 60-ish. We'll see what the season has in store for us :)
