O.o dang people are still answering my question... For those of you who think "this shouldn't be a question" I had asked it because I remembered I had a GF who openly stated she felt it was acceptable to cheat on someone if things weren't going her way (not enough sex, not enough time spent together, to many arguments ext.)and it was a big debate between us often. Bonus points if you can guess how that relationship ended lol. (Page 16)

Cheating is never acceptable if a person can't commit to being with one person then they shouldn't try to be in a relationship.

When I rethink the question, it seems like it's more a question of cheating as a form of revenge. But, if it's gotten to the point that you have any kind of contempt or malicious thoughts about the other person, it's past time to call it quits. If you can't relate (relat-ionship), you're doing it wrong.
