Consensual incest?

I don't particularly like the idea, but I wouldn't oppose anyone that wants to be in such a relationship, mostly because it doesn't affect anyone but them and therefore, I shouldn't care.

I guess if its two consenting adults, whatever floats your boat. Would just have to be careful about conception. I could never do it personally though.

Again, genetic mutations will not happen in the first offspring. It's a few generations down the line.

"It's a few generations down the line." So it will still happen

Do you mean if their children have an incestuous relationship as well, or does it happens regardless?

To make it easy: Brother - Sister | ^- Daughter | | Granddaughter - Grandson | DEEERRRPP Edit: Didn't come out how I wanted to. :/ Figure it out.

If i recall correctly from biology, it is possible that genetic defects could occur immediately (like in any pregnancy) though the chances are greatly hightened by the fact that two normally lesser ressesive traits now reinforce each other negatively. Similar to if i had two bags with four marbles each, and normally its two red and two blue in one bag and one red and three blue in another(two separate parents) that would be a 33% chance. But, if the two bags are the same 2:4 ratio (same bloodline) we now have a 50% chance of that specific trait. Of coarse these are excessively simplified examples. Either way, the union of the two is not mine for the questioning, nor do I frown upon it; simply stated, I just share a concern for the well being of their offspring.

Eh as long as it's between two consenting adults i think no one has any say in it. It's their business therefore not my problem, so I really don't see why anyone should be against it when it doesn't concern them. As long as they're responsible about it.

Jesse, that would be true if the recessive traits were actually that high, but truth be told, they're usually not.
