Personal Privacy?

Sure, some people can do almost anything they want with your info. But don't they usually have some sort of motive? Like jealousy if you are famous or getting back at you for something? Seems unlikely for someone to go through all the trouble to harass just anyone?

I care about my own privacy way less than I know I should, but the problem with me is that I only learn with failures so here's hoping nothing bad happens.

Actually, Vamp, from my personal experience, MOST people do it JUST to harass people, don't even need a motive. People are so deluded and depraved these days, like wild feral animals. Most people just do it for fun, they think it gives them "power".

I know anyone with any skill online can find out everything about me anyway so why bother to hide it when I have no reason to anyway? Nobody that I know of has any reason to harass me and if they wanted to there is nothing to stop an initial attack anyway.

I *try* to keep all my activities separate with different usernames. I even have different email accounts for family, personal and throw away. Lastly, I give out as little information as possible or keep it obscure. If I do get harassed I have a better idea of where it came from based on the information they used.
