Would you date an asexual?

And this is personally effecting you how? You seem to have some pent up animosity towards people apparently "making up" terms to define their sexuality. Frankly who gives a shit? Your straight, gay, bi, pan, a, apio, etc. If you're seriously losing sleep over frankly what amounts to how a person wants to define their sexuality and find a term that can help them nail it down, I really don't know what to tell you other than to get over it. People already have a hard enough time not feeling normal, and to have people criticize and come down on them because how they want to define themselves sexually goes outside the social norms, it does no one any favors in dealing with these sorts of personal issues and it's really no one's business in how they define themselves except their own.

Your definition of "healthy" is different then mine. Someone who says they are asexual or apiosexual isn't a mental defect imo. It's their personal preference. So they don't want to use their plumbing down there to fuck or procreate? Beyond that they could be a very normal, healthy, mentally sound, tax paying contributing member of society. That's not a mental defect. That's a person's personal choice on how they want to live their personal life. And seriously, you're going to bring the society argument into this? Just because a handful of people describe themselves with some relatively unknown term isn't going to effect your ability to raise a family or anything of the sort. Given the VAST majority of people in western culture are heterosexual males and females, the fact a small minority of people choose to use a different term to define themselves frankly won't do jack squat to you or anyone who wants to raise a "normal" family.

Thanks @RainX for defending me but clueless idiots like this guy aren't worth the effort. If he wants to think I'm a 'mental problem' or whatever he wants to believe, he can. I'm perfectly healthy, perfectly happy with myself, and could care less about how or why he insults or belittles me. It's easy to be rude behind a screen. And a free pass to what? XDD be ourselves? Honestly people like you who put others down to make yourself feel better are who are negatively effecting society, not us. I bet you lose more sleep over the fact that you can't ever get a girlfriend because of your nasty attitude.

And btw being pan or bi isn't special anymore bub. It's not a label you pick up at a dollar store or a sticker the teacher gives you for helping with homework. If we wanted to feel 'special', we'd be the frickin president.

Being a Pan-sexual, just thought I would throw in my opinion - Completely ignore it if you wish. Although saying that, I'm not even 100% sure I am Pan-sexual. you see, the official description for a Pan-Sexual is "not limited in sexual choice with regard to biological sex, gender, or gender identity." ^ Which can be confused in a way with being Bi-Sexual - I can completely understand that yet I would be struggling not to face-palm... But for me, I am attracted to one or two people not the entire group/gender but that isn't always the case. To put it simply, if I walk into a room full of half-naked women... *Boing!* ;) however, if I were to walk into a room full of half-naked men... no boing unless I see that one person I quite fancy. (then *Boing*) ^ Call me childish but that's just the easiest way for me to explain it. - I don't care if you're Straight, Bisexual, Gay, Lesbian, A-Sexual or any-other orientation of any kind. If you're nice to me, I'll be nice to you. Simple as that, everyone is different. -

So you are telling me that I am, because of my sexuality, a mentally degenerate idiot who needs a person like you to supposedly 'boost myself to human level' to feel good about who I am as a person, and that I'm inferior to you because I see people for who they are inside and not for their body parts? That's a lovely opinion. I'm glad you feel that way! Tell your quote on quote girlfriend that I feel very bad for her, and please enjoy yourself in hell, because apparently I'm the queen. And I'm not attacking your sexuality in any way, so you continuing to pretend you are a better person than me can stop XDDD If this is all you are going to say and if you refuse to reasonably argue your opinion without lifting yourself up, I would prefer not to talk to people like you. Thank you much. @hans ^^ yea It's better to be a good person even if you don't agree with their opinions

I don't really see a problem saying "Why not" Well, I guess most people who say "Nah" to me feel like they are one of those guys who want to score a girl and then fuck off after few months to find a new one to screw over. Call me old and cringy, but love is not all about sex. Just saying.
vampire_neko
Sure, love isn't all about sex. But being around a hot girl I can never sex would make me damn sexually frustrated (yes I know some asexuals do have sex) or if she doesn't really enjoy it or want it would make me feel bad about myself. I just don't see a relationship working well in the long run if you aren't with someone that has a similar sexual drive to yourself.
