"Opposites Attract"

I rarely see the opposites attract thing. Though some people can be attracted to others that have opposite personality aspects (often that they wish they had). Like a shy person being attracted to a charismatic outgoing person and such. But I don't see people being complete opposites working. You need to be able to share things in common so you can enjoy doing those things together. Like watching anime cuddled on the couch.

This saying holds some weight but given that people have become more into vanity they tend to want the generally accepted norm. Meaning Although opposites attract, we pass it up for something that would be acceptable and look normal to others. But as I say True love is something you will never see coming.

I feel like it just depends on the person. For me I feel like I need to have someone i'm more in common with, so we can talk about more but it's also good not to have everything in common so you don't get bored of the person.
