I've played them all up to 12 I think. mountain of faith is probably my favorite. I wouldn't consider myself a touhou nut but the games do indeed have cute characters, nice music, and fun gameplay.

I've played a touhou inspired homebrew for the PSP. Some guy briefly tried to make an Atari 2600 game but quickly retreated back into NEVERMIND land.

I've played Scarlet weather rhapsody, Unthinkable natural law, and touhou all-stars. All of these are just 2-d fighters and not scroll shooters. So you could say I haven't really played touhou
