johnny depp vs adam sandler

I disagree respectively I believe johnny can play very outgoing random characters so perfectly

Depends on the jhonny depp role. i find him funny as captain jack sparrow. cant really say the same for his other ones. adam sandler definetely cracks me up as billy madison, happy gillmore, and bobby from water boy.

I prefer Johnny Depp because I enjoy his characters and movies. Adam Sandler does make good movies, but the movies meijirurouni89 mentioned were not my favorites of his nor do I believe he's that great of an actor. As for Johnny Depp, I enjoy the majority of the movies I've seen him in. His ability, in my honest opinion is better since he is able to put himself in the shoes of the characters he plays and takes roles that allow him to push himself to become better That being said, Johnny Depp's acting in more serious roles is better, but he does seem awkward playing the less serious ones. Adam definitely has potential with playing serious roles, but he seems to enjoy the comedic route, and I feel like he tries too hard to be funny and is playing it safe by staying in predominantly comedic movies.

Johnny Depp because his roles are more intelligently humorous and charismatic. Adam Sandler just comes off as either an idiot or sarcastic bitch. Johnny Depp more for the high IQ crowd and Adam Sandler more for the common IQ crowd (concerning the style of humor and usual roles). Also Johnny Depp is much hotter.
