Do I need a real pic?

I know that in my case I would prefer if the person put up a real picture of themselves...people say don't judge a book by it's cover but when it comes to people you can tell A LOT about a person just from their pictures. Also as Jikoshy has stated both personality AND looks determine our attraction to people. I can love a persons personality only to a certain degree...and no matter how I look at it that degree will never be able to completely overturn the physical attraction. Oh and if someone ever lies about their appearance why would you still even consider being with them? So yeah, I think it's important to put up a real picture of yourself, even if it's not your main profile picture. Especially if you're serious about trying to find someone.

You are beautiful just the way you are. Don`t let people despise you just because you are over weight or ugly. Just be yourself and also I would be gladly to be your friend. ^-^

You people who are saying "physical attraction doesn't matter" are young and naive. Once you actually know what love is and been in some actual long term relationships that are NOT online, you will realize the truth.

Actually I agree with you here but it depends on the person. Particularly when you consider the incredibly ugly people that have a bf or gf. I read a few years ago about a guy who hadn't got off the couch in many years (you don't want to think about the bathroom issues, let's just say he didn't get up to go and your worst nightmares won't compare to the reality). Yet this guy had a gf who took care of him and brought him food. I wouldn't even want to walk in that house without a biohazard suit. Unfortunately this guy started having heart problems and an ambulance came and they had a real fun time knocking down a wall to take the couch out because the fibers were embedded/stuck to his skin. But yet he had a gf. If he can get one, anyone can.

I'm not denying that there aren't people out there like that, but it's accurate for the vast majority of the population.

Some ugly guys have a beautiful gf. I'm serious but that guy is a total jerk no idea how he won the gf. Is not hard to get a gf but very hard to find a girl you love that love you back. Somehow I feel more women out there more than men. I think our gender is dying does that have to do with dooms day?
