Destiny

I don't believe in fate but karma is a different matter i believe we are in control of our lives but we are sometimes met with good and bad consequences as results of our actions and I believe those who lack willpower blame this on the notion of fate. However these are only my opinions and I'm happy to debate.

I personally believe we control our choices and the Universe responds accordingly. So I think karma is part of the system

Well that was an easy argument. Next point, do you think there is a God, and if there is, what do you think his role in fate is? I think God comes to us and tells us what to do, but it's our job to do what's right. But I think God stays out of most human affairs.

Though that point makes sense I cannot believe that a god with such power would stand idly by whilst innocent people suffer from disease and many other problems.

Fate.. as much a person can deny its existence one can never prove it. Its honestly a paradox situation, you can often say you believe that our choices and decision aren't predetermined but who say that choice is not fate at work xD. I am a firm believer in Karma though I have seen it work and it is hilarious at times. I'd love to believe that every choice I make is my own and I am hoping I am not just some play thing for fate, but who knows for sure.

Well if God saved everyone, it would loose it's point. People need to die and suffer. There is a sort of balance in the world that keeps things in line. But war is horrible because it disrupts that balance of life and death. Too much death and too much life are both bad things. That's why I will never become immortal.
