Personally, I could never. First dates can only go as far as kissing with me.

I did and not only that, but we moved in together too( pretty much the same day). Still going strong and living together over a year later... I don't recommend this approach.

From my experience, no, at least if you're looking for a serious committed relationship. Someone willing to jump that quickly in the sack to me tends to focus more on superficial aspects of a relationship than anything more deep or meaningful. The couple of times I have done it, within 3 months I wasn't even talking to that person any longer.
