well after coming back to the real world a couple of the people sent into the vr-world decide to meet up and discuss things (those will be the protagonists and like 1-2 side characters) it starts out as a fun day at the amusement park but then it turns serious when one guy mentions the vr-world and what they think about it

I'll say this again, if we're going to include the element of the players being the only ones aware of what's going on during the mergers...let alone the only ones able to do anything about it then where does government involvement come in? They wouldn't even be aware there was a problem unless members of the government were also participating in the game which leaves them little to no options for becoming involved in the matter. Let's say they do have players in the game though and somehow form a government faction, what would their purpose be? It's not like they would have any incentive to stop W.O.R.L.D. once they find out it's behind the game, nor do they have any reason to go against the players. The only incentive I can think of for them to actively participate in the world in any other way than what the deicide legion is already doing, would be to obtain weapons and power to bolster their government. So even if they do have some sort of government orginization going on that's actively participating in the conflict it would be small, have hardly any power, and at most just use and manipulate other players to get their objectives completed. At the very least (and this is what I suggest) we're left with players who are also members of the government trying to convince the actual government that there is a conflict going on centered around the AI system they developed and that they need to do something about it. At least the second option simplifies matters a lot, is believable according to what we've already come up with, and will help get across some aspects of the anime like how the players are the only ones who can solve the conflict.

alright karasu whatever you say your the boss

I just tried to use our previous agreed upon plot elements to formulate a solution that would fit into things without complicating matters more than we need to. I'm not here to boss y'all around and tell you what to do, but I'm not going to stay silent when I think there's a logical direction that we should take. Whether or not we take that direction is up to the group, doesn't mean I can't argue my standpoint though. Sorry if you feel that I've been bossy about my methods -_-

So Anyone willing to Pitch a potential prologue or shall we all write one up and we have a vote on it? If you need names to input in it just leave them blank for now. Setting a tone for things to come would be great and quite helpful and generating even greater ideas.

Prologue start! Let's introduce some main characters and set up some plot... The real kind, not "plot" as in fanservice. Not yet..

Exactly though having a Prologue can set the much need atmosphere needed to give us a basis for what kind of main characters we want to produce to tell the story from. I mean using Avatar last air bender as an example. Its Opening was great it set the tone for the show even before you know who Aang was. All we knew was all was great before the fire nation attacked and that there was a person called an Avatar that could end the war.

Agreed that we ALL need to get together and do our best for an intro. That's a make it or break part of the story
