[Idea for more characters]
how bout this idea to get people to join: for the active users on this site that contribute to this (or not contribute[ideawise, but still want to be a part], but are active anyways, but just give us a greenlight to be used in this project), we keep alive. and those who arent active that pop in every month or so, we kill off?
well we can ask some users if they want to be a part of this, were gonna need a representative though, someone who is approachable and well liked by a large amount of users to ask for their consent on this. Or we can make a thread saying "WE ARE MAKING A MANGA! AND WE NEED YOU AS CHARACTERS!". sounds like a start, we just need their consent on this, because no one wants legal trouble and deal with whatever lawsuits that can come out of this.
[update]
we need more females lol

Sorry for the Hiatus guys, but it wasn't Decide Legion it's Deicide Legion Deicide is the killing (or the killer) of a god so that's why I named it what it was, it fit the most to what they do. Anyways, I like that y'all have been so active about this while I was away yesterday :D, as far as keeping this thing from being 'just' another post apacolyptic mmo anime here's my thoughts: By having the vmmo world and the real world start to overlay onto eachother brings things firmly out of the 'just' mmo category. Further refining this we can say that the game itself is a mystery and holds the key to why v-reality and reality keep mixing together. This obviously gives the characters incentive to keep playing the game while the real world goes back to...well being real. Perhaps we could even keep it so that the players of the games are the only ones to keep memories of these overlap events, using their gaming personas in real life to beat the event and turn things back to normal.
As far as technology goes for accessing the game world I think something like Accell World would be fine, though I think we need to distance our technology further from other manga so as not to be labled copy cats. Maybe something like having our technology advanced far enough to where we have implants in our brains allowing us to access the internet and such would probably be the easiest way to avoid the copy cat problem.

Deicide Legion and Decide Legion seems too similar (imo) and can probably throw people off.

Deicide is the only word that means anything remotely similar to the factions stand point though D: granted deicide isn't exactly a common word so I can see how it would be confusing >.> If y'all can think of anything that fits the faction as perfectly as deicide let me know...

Deicide is better than decide legion but yeah its conufsuing as hell.
Merging reality with the game is a must, via neural implants would be cool. I was thinking sort of along the lines of how persona3 did it, but different. There is an hour betwween midnight and 1am that only players experiance, its like a dream but the effects are real and you get swept into the dream like dimension similar to the game regaurdless if you were asleep during that time or not. That could be were the two start blurring together. They need to play the game because if they die during that mandatory hour after midnight they die, or receive the injury in real life. Playing and figuring out the game is integral in solving the mystery as of to why and saving the world from gods
Any constructive criticism?

the neural implants drag players into the game world during certain times and if they die during that time they die in real life

Oh, what if the nueral implants get stuck. They are all fried and get melted to our spine/ nervous system somehow (an act of god) and removing it will kill the person

My only criticism of that is how reality and v-reality are merging for one hour each day, I like the idea that what happens when reality and v-reality merge is real and that you can die. Here's my thoughts of how we should have reality and v-reality merge: After the first major expansion to the game is launched there are daily hidden events in the game, and whenever someone activates one of these events reality and v-reality merge into one, and to un-merge the two worlds they have to complete the event. Each of these events could play a role in unraveling the mystery behind the game and the gods. Maybe each event gives one page out of a book (or something, you know a smaller peice of a bigger object), and when all the pages are gathered they can start the raid that was brought out with the xpansion.
