Sex or cuddles?

Isn't sex just cuddling from the inside? Edit: So many saying "cuddles". You just want physical intimacy and what is sex but physical intimacy in it's purest form(Well, should be. ;) )?

I feel too complicated. All of these complicated feelings just bundle up forever and ever, and I sort of want to melt away, and I sort of want someone to melt with. When I think about the question, I can't help but think about it in a superficial way, which just messes me up a bit. It isn't that I want another bag of flesh around. For me the physical attention should be a way to reach into the person inside, to really connect with them.

I get that I really do. But whose to say that physical attention cant be in the form of sex? Why do so many people here see sex as this superficial thing?
