For the love of cute

Nyanpasu! Fellow otaku, I was wondering if I could ask your opinion on something. As an adult male most people I talk to are confused by my love of cute things(Bottle Fairy, Precure, Binchoutan, Hello Kitty). They seem to think that liking adorable things is wrong or something only children do. By contrast it's perfectly normal in Japan. Has anyone else experienced this sort of thing?

mt boyfriend is also a sucker for the cute though hell never admit it its not normal ill say but its not wrong by any means. it hurts no one, its alot like Otomen :D! (hes tough looking kendomaster who on the inside loves all things cute and fluffy but he has to hide it)

Well. Um. I was kinda hoping that I wasn't COMPLETELY alone while being a minority of a minority in a minority. Surely someone other than me has taken their Hello Kitty to Build-a-Bear for a new outfit, or buys My Little Pony merchandise and admits they are not for a younger relative. I'm not really flattered that you compared me to individuals that are ashamed of what they love. (And yes, I've read it too)

You my friend are the only other person I have ever encountered (other than myself) to admit to preferring cute anime and/or being a lolicon. Unfortunately. Try bringing that up at a con and people start looking for security. OTL It was just Rikujou Boetai Mao-chan... I will check those titles you mentioned, they do look like fun.

Sounds like you need a trip to an Akihabara doujinshi shop. By the way, have you ever watched and/or heard of Mazinger Z? It has a hilarious mahou shoujo parody in Robot Girls Z.

Your not alone Chopstickman. Though, some things I tend to ignore, like hello kitty for example, I have a weakness for cute/moe.
