I have to drive too :D and I did I actually had cars go past me and infront of me and made the right turns :3 and yeah I'm a little gothic too and mom let me get a shirt from Spiral :D so maybe she'll warm up to who I am but I have to get use to how pouty my lips are now that I've had a Frenectomy-and-Soft-Tissue-Graft DX tiniest piece of skin gone made my bottom lip even bigger DX

People generally don't like change. So it is only natural to face opposition from others when you change. To me I say you'll be all right. Like Loli-Chan said, time is key. I completely understand your situation from my own personal experience.

Hey, welcome to MaiOtaku, home to many an outcast, including yours truly. I definitely feel where you're coming from on being an otaku, as I'm a major social outcast where I'm from and actually have no real friends. But here, I've finally found people to actually talk to.
