Falling in love...

He sounds like he has issues and doesn't understand what a relationship is. Maybe I'm weird because I don't do the friends with benefits thing, but anyone I'm regularly sleeping with and sharing time with is more than a "friend".

Too right! Sigh. The weird thing is, for me it was the best relationship so far :D Anyway, I think falling in love becomes harder the older you get because of the experience you make and the change of priorities in life. As sad as it sounds... But in fact, you're not that naive and trustful as you've been with 15 or 20.

When one has a lot of jaded experiences letting go and opening oneself up to the possibility of being hurt again is not inviting at all. Why would anyone want to fall hardcore only to be smashed to pieces and thrown out like an old rag? I've always been a very logical and realistic person, even as a child, so the last time I ever fell blindly in love with someone was in middle school. Never again. And even back then it had only happened twice. /sigh/ But, experiences aside, the older you get the more your body changes, and that includes hormones.
