Ending of Edge of Tomorrow (Spoilers ahead)

I didn't even think about. It could that it still does since he was the only one that could remember what was happening. The part I'm confused about a little is how is the enemy dead? He wakes up in the past on the day he arrived in london, so wouldn't the aliens still be alive?

Yo, I'm not sure if someone's said this already since i'm still planning on going to see this, (so I didn't really read your posts.) but you guys know that Edge of Tomorrow is based on All you need is Kill, right? go look it up.

Finally got to watch the movie today and there were some definite changes with the movie compared to the novel. I enjoyed the movie all the same though. Drelzar- Well technically yes they still would be but that's some of the difficulty with time-play. CommanderTK- You bet I do! XD I was so stocked when I saw the trailer because I had read the book.

Yeah but still, technically they could still be alive and they just moved the omega, and then all that would have to happen is they kill the omega since if getting alpha blood on you takes away the alphas ability to restart the day, then you would think it would take away from the omega. Or what is Cage is the new omega O.O

I kinda look at it as the Alphas being the servers and the mimics being the Antenna if that makes sense. But looking at it from the point of view of the movie itself. What do you think happened at the end?

the ending was becuase he took on the omega's blood that it reset everything before it died. but it still was dealt a fatal blow. so it died. and thats the reason for the ending. though he still has the power to die but he cannot come back because the omega is now dead.

But if time reset to a point when the omega was not dealt a fatal blow, how can it be dead? everyone else who went on that beach died but always came back alive when time was reset

it reset as it died it cant be brought back to life but the alpha can because it is the one being killed. since the omega dies it cant bring its self back to life. but it can bring others. was a tricky way they created it but the logic is there. you just have to look at it openly.

I do kind of agree with imerialnutcase on how the day reset but the omega still died but it could still be left open to discussion about whether he could still reset the day himself because they more of referred to him "taking" the omega's power to reset the day instead of saying something like borrowing or anything that would suggest some temporary form of transference.
