12 year old Wisconsin girls stab friend 19 times

shadowspike64
What is this world coming to?! Where is all of this good courtesy and justice people have been teaching us? Where is the good morality and lecture about being a benevolent person doing good intentions that we been taught as kids, seen in tv programs or learned in folktales? What's the whole point then if people are ignorant and blind by this? All for the purposed of being bored? I get what boredom feels like but seriously...

That girl needs to calm the fuck down. Either she's waay too dedicated to the Slenderman game, or she's just nuts. You can't go 'round stabbing other little girls without a good reason (and I mean a seriously good reason). Hopefully that other little girl is gonna pull through and the crazy little girl is gonna get some help tightening her nuts and bolts. It would suck if something like Slenderman ruined the rest of their lives.

I blame Creepy Pasta. Freakin HATE That site..

I think blaming the internet for this is a bit much. It just seems more like a lack of proper parenting because if someone sees their kid acting odd and spending too much time with fascinations such as these without properly sitting them down and discussing the difference between reality and fantasy it can be easy to get absorbed into these things.

But sometimes children can be very secretive but yeah I agree that its bad parenting they weren't looking after what the child reads or sees on the internet..If they were they would of seen that and said to stop looking at that or block any sites with the word slenderman or creepy pasta. Basically they take the internet like texting and they just don't think a second thing about it. My parents also had bad parenting, I discovered hentai sites at the age like 9 or something and they never enforced any protection against porn or hentai so I always had an early knowledge of what sex was lol though that didn't change who I was because I was smart but even so now I have a rather perverted mind and humor and some people think it's weird since I'm usually seem to be a shy and innocent type but in reality I'm probably far from that. But yeah..I agree the bad parenting they should of been monitoring what the child was looking.. It's hard to blame the internet because it's met for so many people..And I guess you can take it as a huge access to many things but for younger teens and kids a parent has to be aware and ontop of there child making sure to monitor what they look at..Cause if they don't the kid can intake all kinds of negative and bad information that can mess them up mentally..And alot of the time they won't show it cause some know how to conceal it more then others so..Yeah looks like the irresponsible parents didn't find out until shit hit the floor. What a pity..For both the girl and the one assaulted. This could of clearly been avoided if the parents had done there job as a parent.

I'm also of the mind that it all has to do with how kids are raised and not what they look at online or what they watch on tv or what music they listen too. Violence of all kinds including domestic abuse, rape, incest, etc. Have all been around long before modern media. If you grow up in a violent family then you will see that as normal and be more likely to be violent yourself. If you grow in a loving and emotionally stable family then you won't likely be a violent person. I've also been watching stuff I wasn't supposed to since about 10. I would say the only side effect is a bit of porn addiction when I don't have a gf I'm having sex with daily. I also love horror and other crazy films but I've never even been in a real fight. It's all about the environment in which you are raised and the guidance (or lack of) by your parents and teachers and even friends.

Those are mostly my sentiments as well vampire_neko. I would say your home environment is probably the main factor, but I've personally seen how much damage friends can do as well. Where in a single household you have nice hardworking kids on the honor roll who have siblings that dropout then go live with their friends to do drugs and get drunk all day and can't get a job to save their life. They're verbally and physically abusive, and use anyone they can for anything they can. This is just speaking from one experience that I've had though and is by no means the norm.

Right, that's why I mentioned friends. But you can chose who to be friends with. I had friends that I stopped being friends with because they took things too far with drugs or sex or violence. I enjoyed a bit of edgy party lifestyle but I got out when people got self-destructive or caused others emotional pain to satisfy their physical pleasures. I've always been good at balance for some reason. I've tried a few drugs but never became addicted or spent much. I partied with friends but never to excess. I've only been drunk a handful of times in my life, I don't smoke (cigs). My only addictions are sugar, sex (but usually only in a relationship) and the internet, lol.

That's very commendable. There are for sure responsible drinkers and recreational drug users, but unfortunately they've been the minority in my life. I managed to stay friends with people that were into alcohol and drugs, while choosing not to do them myself, and fortunately everyone was cool with it (of course they still tried to persuade me sometimes). Most things are fine in moderation, but a lot of people I've known haven't always been moderate. Some appear to have weaker wills and won't reconsider destructive friendships or behavior. If everyone were like you, drugs probably wouldn't have to be illegal. And I can identify with those addictions. Sugar is the sweetest poison.
