That's why you should wait a couple weeks and see what happens, see if he tries to contact you. But Yeah, I know how it is when someone stops talking to you all of the sudden. It's happened to me too when I was getting close to a girl online and she just dropped me without a word for some other guy and it was like I didn't exist anymore for her.

Just kinda play it by ear but let him know the next time you talk to him you can't have these extended times of silence if a LDR like yours is going to work.

Men are garbage anyways~
So I'm with you sister through thick and thin! *Z snaps*
But on a serious note, I've met people in a situation like yours, some turned out fine, others not so much. But as I said earlier, just be patient for a little bit longer.
As Nate said though, in the anime/otaku scene, there's plenty of guys to chose from if things do go south and you recover a bit, and a lot of anime nerds (ones I've met anyways) are really nice (probably due to completing all the routes in dating sims) so you'll have no problem finding someone.
For now, do some stuff to take your mind off of this for a little while. Watch some anime, play an instrument, swim, sing, dance, sleep even, or go out with friends, since burdening yourself with these worries will only weigh on you more and take a toll on you. I'm not saying ignore it completely, just not to over-stress yourself, is all.
And if you need anyone to talk to, feel free to message me, though I'm bad at talking, I'll do my best.
And I'm sure anyone else on the forum will be more than happy to support and comfort you. ^^

@OP: Please use paragraphs next time. You have too many run on sentences, it's difficult to follow your thoughts.
On the subject, he's fucking with you. Just ditch his ass and find a guy who cares about you. He obviously doesnt.
If he's got the balls to lie to you about this, just imagine what else he is gonna do.

Obviously the whole waiting game point has been made clear, but as Jiko said in the off chance he is up to no good don't waste anymore of your time. Far too many people think they are "slick" and can get away with anything they want without a thought about how it may affect others.

I dont believe its an off chance. I am 95% confident he is screwing around. I've seen this a lot with LDRs, the guy or girl thinks they can fool around with whomever they want because they're not their to physically catch them, thus they lie and say somebody else took their phone or some other cheesy, fishy story.
So yeah, my advice, and I hope to whichever deity you believe in, is to leave him be for you get hurt any further. Hes gonna lie and cheat more and its just going to end up being more painful for you.

@ Jiko - To be honest, I believe so to, but I still feel it's best to wait for a short while.
And if things did turn out well, and it happens again, then definitely leave him.
One thing I would be upset with you, however, is if you chose to believe him through everything simply because you love him, love can make you blind. I know that sounds contradictory with what I said earlier with waiting, but if his story, if there is one, sounds just as fishy as the "other person had my phone" then forget about him.
After relooking over the original post though, the "cousin had my phone" thing isn't believable, you said it's his girlfriend (you) talking, so the cousin should have just said, "oh, sorry, I'm his cousin and I have his phone right now, I'll return it to him" or just given it to him without even texting.
However, nothing's impossible, just improbable. So in the end, it's your choice to wait or leave it.
