Well, it would seem I haven't actually posted in this thread (though I could have sworn I did), so I will gladly post about myself in hopes of potentially--at the very least--establishing a rapport (or friendly relations) with people on this site. My name is Ben. I am a 17 year old senior in High School currently living in Washington State, USA. I stand at about 6'3", weigh roughly 165 pounds, and although I used to be athletic (7 years of baseball and one of tennis) I turned into a band geek/otaku. I play four different kinds of saxophones, however if they're to be counted as "one" instrument then technically I play three instruments- saxophone, guitar, and a little bit of bass. My favorite kinds of music vary depending on my mood, although I will never turn down some GG or other kpop artists, and I love all kinds of metal to death (save screamo, except in very small doses). Not a fan of country either, although gangster rap has been growing on me to an extent. I watch anime in what little spare time I have, and in addition to that my other hobbies include gaming, playing music, and streaming (I own a twitch.tv channel and stream semi-regularly when band doesn't take up my time). Returning to the band subject, I am the lead Alto Saxophone in the Jazz Band and--as many people would say--the best bass instrument player at the school on Baritone Saxophone in the school's Wind Ensemble. My favorite genres of anime tend to be either sports or fantasy related, since they intrigue me the most, although I will watch almost literally any kind of anime out there. I -have- been in a relationship before, but after a few months it...fell apart. I will not go into details because it is a very sensitive subject to me, but I can assure people that I am a nice guy. Poor, and anti-social, but nice. All of my greatest friends know I'm there for them through thick and thin, regardless of whether or not I'm in the mood to help them. My personality is... sort of quaint. I was raised to be a gentleman, and as such I try to have a good semblance of manners (which considering my generation--especially at my school--really isn't hard to do). I am a 'hugger' and also a cuddler, and admittedly a hopeless romantic. Not one to usually go on dating sites but, I figured I would--like most others here--give it a shot, as it were. Long-distance relationships aren't too much of a problem for me, however my time-window for communication can be a bit iffy because of band and the responsibilities I have within it, even outside of school time. That being said, anyone wishing to either be friends or potentially pursue more, feel free to add me, message me, whatever you see fit. I'm a very blunt, honest person, and speak my mind in that way, so if that discourages you, then I still encourage you to talk to me ( :P ) . Even though I'm shy, if you get to know me I become a very happy-go-lucky, joke-slinging, sarcastic and nice individual with a lot of pent-up energy and friendliness just waiting to shine through.
