I'm a 30 year old who lives in the countryside, that decided to register here after struggling to find anyone I'm compatible with on more conventional dating sites. I love anime and watch a good 5-7 series per season, and am a mostly retired JRPG gamer that still picks up the occasional title (I definitely plan to play Persona 5). At my age I'm not interested in the multi-year dating thing, and would like to settle down and get married soon. Not that I necessarily want to rush things, but I'd like to at least be engaged by the one year mark. I think shared hobbies are a very important thing, and would love to have a girlfriend and best friend to watch anime and play videogames with (the latter being more optional). I highly value intimacy in a relationship, and have always been attracted to hopeless romantics. I want someone to spoil. Some other things that are important in a partner would be... - Doesn't want kids. I don't have any interest in having any, and would much rather just things be between me and my otaku wife. - Is okay with living in the countryside. I would also like to retire early - as in, no later than age 50 or so - and am saving up so that I can do so. I own my car and my home in cash (I only moved out the February of last year, and haven't been too serious about the dating thing until now because I wasn't in any position to do so), so it shouldn't be too difficult when my only expenses are utilities and groceries. I've been an anime nerd for years but just in the last year or two has it become a huge part of my life. I've started cosplaying and fell in love with it as well as going to conventions. No offence gentlemen, but do you people truly believe that the love of your life is currently browsing through this thread as if it were a catalogue of eligible bachelors? I'm sure some of you are putting more effort into writing this than you are actively looking to make yourself desirable... I'm often accused of trying to put down people, but the way I see it this is a desperate struggle.
