I need more female friends.

I need more female friends...I'm a shy kind of person especially when talking to girls. I think part of the problem is that I have trouble talking to girls and not THINKING of them as girls and just seeing them as people and not someone who I "should impress". I've gotten much better but I'm still shy especially around girls and I have VERY few female friends >.<

I always have more female friends then male friends. My problem is that because I dont usually flirt or hit on girls unless they start it, I usually get friend zoned pretty quick.

The only time I've flirted with a girl that I can remember is when it was fairly darn obvious she was flirting with me haha. Even if only playfully. Yeah I'm probably the kind of guy who treats generally treats girls in a way that quickly gets me friend zoned, regardless of how I view them *relationship wise*.

I usually wait til its too late myself because I am too shy to say it directly unless I already feel there is a connection that is strong.

Well I agree with you on that but thats part of the problem if they want to be something more they have take part in certain things to indicate they are interested in them. Since this entire view on determining if a person is interested in you goes by a individual basis it is rather hard to know what to say and how to say it especially if you are not the most socially adept or direct person about dating. Some people may come off as to nice to some girls which may lead more to friends whereas for other girls this may be a indicator that want something more. Regardless of gender though this happens to all people but I dont necessarily see it as friend zone just a form of miscommunication between what two people are trying to say.

I think I have an even balance of both =O...Dunno about this friendzone business because of my weird aura that seem to put me in weird positions x>X. I'm sure if you just be yourself and find girls attracted to that you'll be in a good place with yourself.

You know what I mean by friend zoned right? Like when a girl decides you are are friend (but nothing more). Since you are classified as a "friend" it means you can't be her lover or boyfriend. I don't know if it's still that way most of the time with the rise of the popularity of "friends with benefits". But that wasn't a big thing when I was younger. But I know the female friends I had when I was younger who thought of me as a "friend" would not be interested in sleeping with me. However I would have no problem sleeping with them or dating them.

Yu- Yeah I never even saw much point in dating unless there seemed to be a good connection to begin with. Shadow- The hard part is trying to find girls who are attracted to....well whatever the weirdness is that I am haha
