Oh wow o.o, I haven't caught any shinies this game around...only bred a few :l though my luck with that seems to be running out xD

Safari's seem to be the way to go. That's the only way I've found "non guaranteed" shinies so far. Hey that's pretty cool, breeding them. Whom did you breed into shinies? Boy, I know what that feels like, you luck with shinies running out that is :(

got a japanese ditto and my charizard that I started with and bred those until I got a shiny charmander, and I also wasn't really trying to, but I managed to get a shiny ralts >.> I've heard that friend safari's have a pretty high chance on the first time you go there but diminishing chances the more often you go.

That's pretty awesome! Especially since you weren't trying! I bet you were pretty darn surprised. Wow you've had some great luck with shiny mega pokemon. I saw your post on my profile which I'll probably say something to but I'll say it here as well. If your going to trade those shiny mega evolving pokemon try and make sure its for something good. I've heard that any shiny pokemon that can mega evolve is popular. Probably get bonus points if your ralts is female. I haven't heard anything about diminishing rates in friend safari's. Hopefully it's not true ^ ^;

I think it's slightly odd that I haven't gotten a shiny outside of breeding though >.> especially for how long I've been playing the game.
