Do you believe posting in the forums helps find a mate?

it seems like all the people that regularly post in the forums dont try at all to find a mate, and the ones that never post on the forums are always creeping on every single new member

I used to try. I even had a chance, but things worked out differently. Even then I still was one of the few who actually used the forums. I've never been one to creep, instead I'd work on one at a time. If I liked you, I worked on building a friendship and getting to know you before I would try to find another. I'm usually more along the slow and steady type, but that has to do with the kind of relationship I like.

I kinda agree with "that guy" Seems like the regular people who post aren't really looking for a mate, though I'm sure they'll accept one if they come along. The way I see it is, if new people are looking for a date and go on the forum, they'll probably see everyone as just friendly forum people who may or may not be looking, and will probably come off more as a friend than a love interest. However, posting on the forums does help to get a better sense of people's personalities towards others However again, I also feel like if you really want to find a mate, you should try messaging people directly, however not bombard the newbies as soon as they join. I usually message/post to the new members "Welcome to the site. Feel free to introduce yourself and post around a bit on the forum and get to know people" I feel that way, it doesn't seem like I'm targeting them, but just welcoming them to the site.

This isnt about me specifically. Just in general, do you think the forums help boost your chances here, specifically. Personally, I've had no luck, but others have. Maybe its because I dont have boobs. Very possible.

Well I think it certainly boosts your chances more than creeping would But anything is possible, just improbable. Even something being impossible is possible. Just message someone "Hey you! I like your face, we should hook up! I'll bring my cute puppy" Chicks love puppies

Posting in the forums works well if you combine it with comments on profiles as long as they are thought out and such. It really depends on how you go about it as mentioned. But right now I will not deny that the forums are not very active like they were awhile back ago.

Its not really something that a few users can do but its good to hear you are trying to make them active . What we need is others to join in and a bigger amount of users in general in our userbase.
