How do you approach someone?

Lets see in a upfront physical meeting. Unless that person is more open to people who have the problem with social situations it may be hard for me to socialize properly if anything this is my weakness. It only happens when im in situations where im pressed to be social as well which online does not really do. I am a bit of analytical person in any social situation and I usually overthink said scenarios and stutter or do something awkward. However it is temporary once I am able to talk to the person a few times it usually eases up and I feel much more comfortable talking to them. At least that is how it has been with previous people I talk to in such a event. If anything I think I come off with my conversations sounding more like a debate then a casual conversation until I can register in my head that im used to the person. It varies with the individual though I have met a few people who were more accommodating to my social situation which seemed to make me much more comfortable.

@nekokai, You know, I found the best way to approach someone is just being friendly. The real perks to this is you either gain a friend or more! If it doesnt work out, thier loss! I can tell that your a good person because you show concern unlike some. So points to you :)

I'm a bit awkward to talk to, but you can always talk to me, I'll befriend you :D But instead of "hello" and simple stuff like that, say something random The first thing one of my friends said to me was "I like your voice" before she even said hello, we don't see each other much anymore though since she was busy with her child and ended up moving.
