日本語できる人いる？(Does anyone can speak or write Japanese?)

わたし　は　がいじん　です。　日本　は　すごい　づす。　やきそば　は　おいし　です。　わたし　は　ばか　あほ　です。 あなた　は　おたく　です　か？ I can read hiragana and know broken Japanese that most people learn in five Japanese lessons. I am a newbishly newbish newb of newbish means and newbish ways *notes the way he newbishly spaces his Japanese writing*.　Stupid college keeps me from studying! >:(

Would anyone recommend books or online materials if one were to self study? I'm looking online and reviews seems to be mix. Just looking for personal experience. Thanks!

I can't think of what the name of it is off the top of my head if I remember I will post it back here.

http://www.japonin.com/ These are actual Japanese lessons, by teachers who are native Japanese speakers. It does cost money but I would recommend them. I started as an advanced beginner and am now around intermediate level. I'm broke at the mo so it's on hold but they are really good and the teachers are really nice.

Thanks! I'll definitely check the sites out! Would you guys recommend any books? I prefer them over internet sources just for personal preference. Especially if there is online instructors, I don't want to work around their schedule.
