Is love to go to otakon this year, it's been a few years but this year has been a shit year on my finances and seems like it's only going to be more fun....I want to have my girlfriend experience the full fury of nerdome!...Ain't gonna be this year though.

Lol nothing of the sort (picking up a guy in my case). I don't doubt it happens though. A lot of the attendees that go aren't underage though~ So you know, those sort of situations happen. As for Julio's comment, I agree with the comment on kids will find a way into those situations. Not all kids, but some will. Hormones are raging and they're at an age where it'll be harder to make the right choices since it's way too easy to act on reaction or submit to peer pressure. Now I personally haven't gotten myself involved with such situations (since I stay at home all day watching anime and studying ahahah.. ), but I am aware that it does happen. It's hard to be an idealist about this topic since kids will do these kids--some, not all. And yeah, I don't think it's bad either as long as it's between two consenting adults.
