I never understood this whole thing with the ponies. Just like I'll never understand wth Homestuck is. Maybe I'm just getting old.

Princess Luna because her story is amazing. She was neglected most of her life and even her own sister did not see it. Because of all the sadness other pony's made her go through she was slowly driven overtime to become nightmare moon. Nightmare moon is a pony created from the negligence of other ponies. When Nightmare Moon was defeated she admitted to her mistakes and rightfully took her place besides her sister but not has to deal with the fact that most ponies fear her. She is by far the strongest and best pony.
