Cosplaying with your significant other?

Is it weird that it could be an actual deal breaker for me if whomever I was dating wouldn't oosplay with me? I'm not sure if this topic has been brought up before, but it's something that I feel rather strongly about. What are your views? Do you like cosplaying with who you're dating? Or prefer not to?

I prefer to do so it brings out a interesting point of view if you want to act like a couple from another anime for a example. Definitely would like to myself.

Thats not weird at all imo anyway. Wanting to cosplay with the person you're dating fine but it honestly depends on the person. I would like to be able to, but as for cosplaying from the same series sometimes it can present a problem.(ex. we cosplay from a series you want,and next time from a series of my choice) you never know if a person will actually do it or just say they will.

@Fudo Zen: That's how it worked with my last boyfriend (who really did spoil me in this aspect). We always cosplayed from a series that we agreed upon, and since we typically did 2-3 outfits per con, we would each choose one and then reuse our favorite from last time. I was so spoiled that now when I date guys who don't cosplay it weirds me out and I feel out of place >.<

I Prefer myself that the two should both agree on a cosplay pair. I did see this interesting one at ikkicon with professor oak and eevee.

It shouldn't work like that at all!! I'd be super sad if someone did that to me >.< Make sure you have a good girl next time who won't bail on you :(
