Adds on MaiOtaku

***This is not about how adds are annoying or anything like that or how MaiOtaku should stop putting adds.*** This may be a stupid topic but what add are you seeing right now? Like what does it say and what is it for? Mine is "Keystone Pipeline Project." It's something about pipelines and helping the environment against CO2 gas and blah blah blah economy blah. I think it's a nice little project if they are trying to help the environment. Trying to spread the word to get more backing through adds makes their name more recognizable. Will they succeed in boosting sales or whatever? I think so. People love to feel good about helping others and the environment even though they really don't care. They'll do well. Why do I ask this question? Cause I'm bored. So what add are you seeing right now on this page?

Mine says "Your interested in Japan?" then "Automatic translation summarizes the talk of the BBS of Japanese." So basically it's going to summarize for me whatever I'm reading on Tanuki (Japanese bbs forum) in broken English! lol

I think it's probably one of those things where you copy and paste the URL and it spits out your average translation. :P

Now I keep seeing an ad for Docodemo TV, basically a USB stick that allows you to watch Japanese TV... OMG WANT SO BAD!!!

Have you ever heard of... Don't let me go there. I have popup blocker. Ad block as well but only when it's running a sort of script or with an image, if it's just html, then it doesn't do anything cause I know better and that's how I set it up.. :P

Plus, the ads here help bring in revenue for the site. I'm on my phone, so I don't see the ads often, but I have "drill rig augers" for mine.

I never downloaded an add block, but I still do see any adds. Maybe because when I joined this site I threw them like 3 or 4 dollars for shits. Idk if that had anything to do with it, but I know some sites take adds away when you throw them money

I'm now seeing an add for g2gk.com asking "Can't Find a Date? Maybe because you're looking in the wrong places. Try Geek 2 Geek" Funny that the dating sites that I've been to so far have adds for other dating sites.
