Single for life???

Would you be okay with being single until your life cease to be? Knowing you'll never be with someone to share memories together, waiting for that special someone that might never come... I ponder these sometimes, I too would like to be with someone, but like any other dreams, hopes, and wishes will ever be a light in the dark to give comfort until it brightens or dims... No this is not a cry for help just a notion of things to think of. Anyways I'm alright, and I'm ok with being single for life. I've accepted this "fate", if can call it that. I mean just look at my pic haha I'm not handsome, I'm fat and ugly, all my life, maybe I just love food that much haha I can say all these things about myself cause singing in a band playing in front of a small crowd has given me confidence especially when people tell me to my face that I was badass while giving a handshake or fistbump, it put's a smile on my face. I can definitely face life single when I have great friends, family, music, anime, manga, games, and my otaku brothers. But I still do DREAM of that special girl to be with forever, the odds are certainly against me, but as long as other lights don't dim I'll go on with a smile.

Your only 22 dude. Just relax. Your not going to be single for all your life,You haven't even gone threw all your life yet so you can't say that.Also you can't read the future so again, YOU Can't say that. I never had a boyfriend in all these 21 years of mine and you don't see me saying I'm going to be single for all my life.Lmao. Everyone's greatest enemy is themselves. If you can learn to live and love yourself, no one can harm you. I know you aren't beating yourself up or crying for help, but contemplating about a life of loneliness devoid of love it not far from it and may even be worse because you are thinking about being alone with a sound mind. If you think you wont find anyone because you believe you are ugly, then that's the way it will be. Girls don't appreciate someone who is not confident in themselves. Love you who are, and someone will find you. Without trying to sound like a jackass, I've seen plenty of "ugly" couples. Hope that doesn't sound douchie. Personally, I contemplate being single because I've already dealt with the horrible pain of loss. But you have to take the bad with the good. The reason something hurts so bad, is because it felt so good when it was there. The pain is beautiful and the hurt should feel a bit of solace in the fact that they could achieve such pain from another human being. Sorry for rambling.

I know how you feel Oreo having children raising and caring them, I dream of being an awesome father sometime. It's alright Inkuneko it's great to here what others have to say.

Hmmm.... I have thought over this topic before and I'll be happy either way. Sure having that special someone would be awesome but just enjoying life with friends n family can be good too. I'll accept was comes. And as for children I've always planned to adopt.

Even myself it has been difficult. It is due to the fact that I don't want to have children. I never have dreamed myself of having children. So I know I will be single for some time too lol. If the right guy comes along who understand then I might adopt as well.

Yeah I've been thinking about adopting myself, giving a child a place to call home is ideal. Probably when I'm a bit older and have a good income... if I ever get a job lol
