Your musical tastes?

Let's try and stay away from Japanese/korean for now. We all have our favorate artists there. But American music. What do you like to listen to? Could be mainstream, underground, whatever. For me, my top five artists are 1. Saosin 2. Chiodos 3. Circa survive 4. Taking back Sunday 5. Secret & whisper There are many others I love, but that is just a few. So how bout you guys?

I am probably eclectic and metal head. Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, AC DC, Metallica, Pantera. I also enjoy Grouplove, Fitz and the Tantrums, Volbeat, Stone Sour, Joy Formidable, Silversun Pickups and stuff like that. From time to time I have to listen to electronics, too. Lol

I love silversun pickups. They are AMAZING live.

Damn, I used to love oldschool Saosin with Anthony Green (their stuff after that just seemed a little sloppy except for their first album without Anthony Green). Which leads me to the next point in that I love Circa Survive and seeing them on their Violent Waves release tour which was pretty awesome. In terms of my own musical taste I've always been a huge fan of Emo and Math rock/Post rock. I used to play a lot of post-hardcore music so I have steered clear of that genre for the most part except for older bands like Underoath and Scary Kids (but again I find the genre pretty generic)so when I get into heavier music it has to be more intricate like Animals as Leaders or Chon.

@miss yeah, they were I've of the best concerts I ever saw. Defibatly go if you get a chance. @toe I heard anything green is up for making a 10th anniversary cd with the saosin members. The vocalist after Anthony green left the band, So that's why they been on hiatus. Hopefully this works out and a new cd comes out. I'll be happy, for sure.

That'd be cool to see happen. Although I suspect Saosin will probably either disband soon or do what Tides of Man did and looked for a vocalist for a long time before giving up and making an album without one.

Personally, I'd like to see Anthony take saosin on as a side project. Think about it for a minute. Both said in and circa survive on tour together. . One he'll of a show

I listen to a lot of rock, My top 5 would be; Breaking Benjamin Disturbed Avenged Sevenfold Bullet For My Valentine Bowling For Soup I also listen to dubstep... But dubstep is shit so it doesn't count...
