For anyone who has ever contemplated suicide

Maybe it's because i didn't read the entire thing, So excuse me for being a bit ignorant, but if I am understanding correctly, kichi wants to help people who are seriously depressed/ptsd/other serious mental disorder, but hates when people so easily say "I'm going to kill myself because (insert childish reason here), or otherwise joking about it. If this is the case, and please correct me if I am wrong, but I agree with him. I did read a comment saying something asking the lines of people who cut are attention seekers. While it may be the case for some, it isn't for all. It's like saying every American is fat. Or everybody from Iceland is gay (nobody ever makes fun of Iceland). While I cannot give first hand knowledge of why, since I had never cut, many times I often hear it's to make physical pain to try and surpass the mental pain. It's the equivalent of somebody going to the bar when they are depressed, in theory. They are not trying to kill themselves when they cut, that's just ignorant people who don't want to take the time and hear these people out. I am open for a non childish debate about this subject if anybody disagrees, and can support their argument with more then a "you're stupid" or some other non productive statement.
